*Boomer response curve (SPL) is geared towards people looking for maximum loudness. This style box will be louder than the flat response curve at some frequencies, has a high impedance rise, and can utilize an amplifier rated at a slightly higher RMS than the subwoofer.

*Enclosure recommendations do not account for subwoofer, bracing, and port displacement.

Little powerhouse

It's running at 2 ohms right now and it pounds. I am buying another one to wire together at one ohm. This will create quite a loud set.

Powerful

Put 2 of these in a ported box wired to 1ohm and tuned at 35hz. Paired to the 400.1D amp and these absolutely pound! I was shocked at how low these get as I had a bio 10 and these hit way harder! So glad I went in this direction!

Tropo 6.5 just awesome

I bought 4 of these for my truck, GMC Sierra 1500 and I must say these little 6.5” subwoofers can take some power and produce some very nice punchy bass. I built the box at 1.882 cubic feet gross, yielding .39 cubic feet per sub. I used two 3” inside diameter PVC ports 11” long obtaining a 42 hertz tuning and this box sounds incredible. People get in my truck and they can’t believe it. I didn’t think I would like the higher tuning but don’t be fooled these drivers extend well below box tuning and never once bottomed out. For reference I like clean useable power so my amp is a Audio Control LC 1500.1. Very impressed… I might do 6 on my next build I am so impressed. If you were skeptical don’t be at $69 these can’t be beat. Just know the box in any system is critical so if you build,… build correctly! I do believe these will sell easily.

WOW

this little monsters sound amazing. Really great low end way below FS with a small ported box. Great option for vehicles with no room.
