*Flat response curve (SQ) is geared towards people looking for responsiveness. This style box is loud on all frequencies, generates little impedance loss, and can utilize an amplifier rated at the same RMS as the subwoofer.

*Boomer response curve (SPL) is geared towards people looking for maximum loudness. This style box will be louder than the flat response curve at some frequencies, has a high impedance rise, and can utilize an amplifier rated at a slightly higher RMS than the subwoofer.

*Enclosure recommendations do not account for subwoofer, bracing, and port displacement.

FINALLY FINISHED

Ok, I finally got my setup finished. I started with a meso 6.5 component set for the front and rear doors of my 99 4Runner SR5 and then I studied and studied a little more and finally got 2 of the meso 6.5 2ohm subs and also got the CT SOUNDS dual 6.5 ported enclosure and built it and carpeted it myself and did all of the installation. And I have never in my life been so happy with the way it turned out and the sound is beyond words. And this thing sounds like it has 2 12s in it... Clarity is phenomenal, so I am completely sold on CT SOUNDS products.. THANKS GUYS.

Not exactly efficient.

Less efficient wired in series / parallel than a single 12". These subs come into their own in a sealed cab with adequate volume. I'm running 6.5 Meso x 2 through a Kenwood 1kw Exelon amp. 10ga copper speaker wire. And 6 gauge solid copper from The circuit breaker. These are some pretty long lasting subs. I beat on them everyday and they it was reliable as my car. There are six positions to anchor the sub to the cabinet. I recommend using all six positions with as large of screws will fit. And I recommend checking those screws for tightness often. If you can feel any air coming out from the sub woofer where it meets the cabinet, it means you need to tighten your speakers down and that will increase your depth about double. People don't realize how much loose speakers that rattle loose in the cabinet over weeks of use. Can rob you of efficiency.
