*Flat response curve (SQ) is geared towards people looking for responsiveness. This style box is loud on all frequencies, generates little impedance loss, and can utilize an amplifier rated at the same RMS as the subwoofer.

*Boomer response curve (SPL) is geared towards people looking for maximum loudness. This style box will be louder than the flat response curve at some frequencies, has a high impedance rise, and can utilize an amplifier rated at a slightly higher RMS than the subwoofer.

*Enclosure recommendations do not account for subwoofer, bracing, and port displacement.

CT Bio 10

I been do some research on some 10’s but not looking to melt my wallet I saw these Bio 10’s and the reviews seems to be pretty good so I thought I would try them. I ordered one for now a week ago and started building my own box which I’ve done for yrs. I received my sub yesterday and finished up with the carpet in my cab area where the box mounted by the way it won’t move as you can see the sun is right in the middle of my seats since I never use the arm rest I removed it and there you go. So I’m just waiting on my amp now. Thanks CT sounds 👍

Bio-10 // 400 Watt RMS 10" car subwoofer

Bought this mostly hoping it would fit in my old-school MTX behind the seat truck sub box that's been empty since I blew the MTX from the 80's that was in it. It fit perfectly. The bio is the lowest range speaker offered by CT sounds so honestly my hopes weren't too high. I hooked up up and have been running it without an amp. Even without an amp the sound quality is better than other brands in the same price range I imagine the higher versions CT sounds offer are even better yet. The BIo is definitely a great speaker for those working on a budget. I've since ordered a CT sounds amp which should arrive today. So far I'm not disappointed with my purchase at all. For the price it's definitely a good speaker. Once I get the amp hooked up I'll know exactly just how good it is. As anyone who has ever ran a sub without an amp will tell you, you won't get the best quality out of the sub until you run an amp. Currently it's not as clean of a sound as it could be, it does crackle a little bit when the bass hits as the treble is trying to override it, but thats to be expected running it witout an amp. I'll write a follow-up review when I get the amp hooked up. I gave it 4/5 stars because it's not the cleanest I've ever heard but that sub was significantly more expensive and designed to run without an amp, so maybe once I get the amp hooked up it'll become a 5/5 but until then it's difficult to say. I will update when the amp is wired in and running

CT Sounds Bio

I purchased this sub for my ford maverick hybrid. This Bio 10 is a DVC 2 ohm sub. I wired it in parallel. I have a Skar RP 350.1D. Crutchfield recommends not exceeding 30 amps of fusing. So this amp is right @ 30 amps. The sub is rated to handle 400 watts rms. I’ve only installed the sub into the ground shaker enclosure. I’ll be having the install done later this month. I’ll give an update.
