*Boomer response curve (SPL) is geared towards people looking for maximum loudness. This style box will be louder than the flat response curve at some frequencies, has a high impedance rise, and can utilize an amplifier rated at a slightly higher RMS than the subwoofer.

*Enclosure recommendations do not account for subwoofer, bracing, and port displacement.

Low end moisture

I pride myself in using lower cost components and making it sound amazing! I replaced a Dayton classic with this Tropo 18, I chose the dayton for it's large effective cone mass, I'm not a fan of large surrounds for they require a smaller cone that moves less air at a higher octave I would like the lowest octave I can achieve with my sub. My enclosure is about 4cf sealed, I love the way it sounds it's just fucking wonderful! 🏆

This sounds great

It’s good I am still working on but I love them

Sounds good for the price....but only been playing them a day, due to waiting on a new radio. Hopefully once they get broken in they will prove to be a good decision.

Unbelievable value, quality and sound

I went sealed for this single one. My thoughts were being an 18 that it will hit low either way, but I listen to many styles of music and wanted something that would sound as good with country as it does with metal and rap. I did not want super boomy bass but have no doubt it would give you that if that’s what you’re looking for. Superior sound over most subs I’ve owned over the past 25 years. I am a CT Sounds customer for life!
