Great Amp!

I recently purchased a 12" Meso sub along with a CT Sounds single enclosure and paired it with a CT-1500.1D mono amp and a CT-LC2 line-out converter. I had the equipment installed in a my '26 Ford Explorer ST, and I am beyond impressed. The system sounds and works great. One 12 is more than enough and it hits really hard. The best part was the cost of the entire set up. I was hesitant due to the old saying "you get what you pay for", but in this case, it does not apply. I would definitely recommend CT Sound equipment!

A new "Bass-Line".

Well, when you get divorced @ 50 years old and give up drinking, suddenly, you have a lot of free time. What better than to pick up a hobby. You gave up twenty five years ago ? car audio.. Now, i'm not gonna pretend to be anybody special. It's been a long time. i popped my cherry the month prior with another CT amplifier install which turned into a whole system in my truck.. i decided it would be a great time burner to put something a little stouter in the car.. this install, like most of them, will probably be forever, A work in progress, I documented most of this installation, however, since I'm on C t's page.
I will stick mostly to the amp Rack & specifically the sub-amp. what can I tell you so far? Well, the system is not tuned.
I've got an alternator coming from Mechman A $440 Battery under the hood so im playing it safe at mid volume. im not going "full send" this amp is feeding at 1ohm a custom built ported box of my own design and some old school trickery
Housing a single Sundown 12. i never thought I would meld. Another audio system we're hearing protection was required.. I've got the trunk and all four doors completely dynamited, it's not enough... As I said, it's not tuned, I took it dip to about half volume today. i was not expecting what I got... so now that i'm this far into the install, and i'm honestly down to just tuning... That's probably about time to take it all apart. I've got another idea. this involves moving into the next bigger CT amp..
