*Flat response curve (SQ) is geared towards people looking for responsiveness. This style box is loud on all frequencies, generates little impedance loss, and can utilize an amplifier rated at the same RMS as the subwoofer.

*Boomer response curve (SPL) is geared towards people looking for maximum loudness. This style box will be louder than the flat response curve at some frequencies, has a high impedance rise, and can utilize an amplifier rated at a slightly higher RMS than the subwoofer.

*Enclosure recommendations do not account for subwoofer, bracing, and port displacement.

Stop questioning and switch up

I've ran 2 12s all my life and I'm almost 50. Now for me I listen to that down south rap trunk rattling music. I had 2 12inch 2ohm DDX in a ported QBomb and have it in a Equinox. When I switched up and decided a 18 has more cone than 2 12s and was gonna hit them lows better it was a no hrainer. I got a Skar rp2000.1 running on it in a Prefab Harmony Audio Ported box. I'd have to say it's so much louder just hitting them lows. I'm just worried I'm gonna blow it because it's wangin hard. Than i be smelling something that's like a voice coil smoking or the new box is getting worked b. I did ask CT and was a lil disappointed they didn't make a 18 inch box to match the sub.

Don't hesitate

I was on the fence about which sub to get. Once I pulled the trigger, i couldn't be happier. Don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed. Been in the game for 20+ years, had many brands, this shot right up there.

My fav speaker I've owned.

This sub is way more speaker than I expected. I have it matched with a CT 1000.1 mono and the combination totally violates my HOA! The box is made from an old trunk that is cedar, reinforced with an oak frame and resin sealed. The port is sized to spec and the box is 6.5 cubic feet in volume. I followed CT Sounds' SPL box recipe and created an audio experience that wows all those who see and hear my 18. I didn't intend on competing but I should be competitive in the <1000w class. Fingers crossed.

Loud and low

Stuck this in a 5 cu ft sealed enclosure and it does what's promised in the specs. Could add a port but don't need it
