The CT Sounds TROPO-2X12D4 is a pre-loaded dual 12” ported car subwoofer box that takes the guesswork out of finding the perfect subwoofers and enclosure for your system. The bass package features two of our TROPO-12-D4 1300-watt max power 12-inch car subwoofers which come pre-installed flush into the 1.25” front baffle using claw nuts and fasteners ensuring an air-tight seal. Additionally, the dual 4-ohm subwoofers are pre-wired inside the enclosure using 12 gauge ofc wire for a 1-ohm final impedance at the terminal cup. This is a true plug-n-play offering - simply run a +/- wire from the terminal cup to the +/- speaker terminals of your amplifier.

The unique high-performance kerf-port, typically only seen in custom enclosures, allows the air pressure to exit smoothly and quickly creating extreme levels of responsive bass output. Furthermore, from the top to the bottom of the interior port walls is a 3-mm rabbet-groove that runs 80-mm into the port on the left/right interior port walls - this allows the premium black carpet to lay flush inside the port with zero-edge providing a smooth exit for the air and eliminating port-noise. Lastly, the enclosure was constructed using advanced joinery practices - dado joints connect the exterior left, right, top, bottom, and back wood pieces, and miter joints connect the corners of the box by cutting the wood at a 45-degree angle. These joinery practices ensure maximum surface contact and eliminate vibration.

From the second you open the package, to the moment you pull the loaded enclosure out of the thick cardboard box, you will immediately recognize the craftsmanship and details that went into not just the secure packaging but the overall design of this product.

The reason i put a thumbs down is

Well with no sound deadner it sounds like shit and does no justice on how these subs actually perform ive used the dual 12 setup in a couple builds ive also come quite fond of the shallow mount series fun fact. I installed 2 x12 inch in a.siverado in a down fire box under rear seat the customer already had / not by choice 2 days later he comes back because the box blew apart I tried to worn em I told him I dont think this box is gonna hold up and it didn't
Some dont understand CT SOUNDS subs go hard. Preferably not recommend for people who have ❤️ conditions lol thanks guys
