I love my 800.5d 5 channel amp. It’s so clean having everything wired to one amp and it sounds loud and crisp. The clip lights on the amp make tuning so incredibly easy. Even if you know how to tune it already this just makes it simple. I can power 4 door speakers and a 12 inch sub with no excessive draw on the stock electrical system and that thing still makes mirrors go brrrrrrrrr.
Its been 30 years since I Built a system, Lots Changed.. i went from one bad speaker in my pickup truck to.I'll throw a few aftermarkets in, to.. may as well blah, blah.. Amp, Sub, New Touch screen deck, mids, highs, Battery, "Big 3 upgrade".. and its still being tweeked.. powering it is a CT-800.5 (That id never a heard of) AI suggested it! and im sure glad, im not short on power and ive got a concert hall in my old 06 Silverado!
Ok so I got this innocent looking amp thinking it was just gonna tickle all my speakers and sub. I was sadly mistaken. This thing not only has a pair of dangly objects between its micro processors but they’re made of steel. I’ve got it turned to 20% and already got My speakers chipping. And the price. It can’t be beat with a ten foot pole. I can’t wait to see what my other amp I bought does to my Memphis audio 15” sub. My neighbors already hate me lol
