*Flat response curve (SQ) is geared towards people looking for responsiveness. This style box is loud on all frequencies, generates little impedance loss, and can utilize an amplifier rated at the same RMS as the subwoofer.

*Boomer response curve (SPL) is geared towards people looking for maximum loudness. This style box will be louder than the flat response curve at some frequencies, has a high impedance rise, and can utilize an amplifier rated at a slightly higher RMS than the subwoofer.

*Enclosure recommendations do not account for subwoofer, bracing, and port displacement.

Good bang for your buck

Don’t be fooled by the size of these little guys. They absolutely slam. I have 3 of them in a down firing box in my Tacoma and they shake the whole truck.

First set of 6.5in subs I've ever owned

Overall excellent build quality and so far my only complaint is the terminals weren't labeled positive and negative in any way shape or form so I had to use a battery and figure it out on my own. During burn-in they seem to do very very well and Mark testing. They seem to do great way more output than I was expecting. So yeah, the only thing keeping in from a five-star review was the lack of marking the terminals

CT sounds is boss.

CT sounds might not be forcing slave labor, to build their amp boards, amps housing/heatsink, and subs
...In THE U-Sof-A
But they don't claim to.
What I know for certain tho, their budget series of monoblocks, (wouldn't be surprised if the Digital "CT" 4chs, also are uncommonly UNDER-RATED in power output both the CT2k, & CT3.2k,
PUT OUT 500 AND 1kW, more than ADVERTISED,
and r more 'humble' than most company's whom if anything rate ther stuff higher, before they wouldn't advertise for EVERY WATT...and CLEAN WATTS (power) for icing on that cake.
The dude that has his surrounds 'ripping after 7months,..'
I'm willing to bet he's wired at a half ohm, on his pair of dual 2s, instead of his, misunderstood 2ohms,
in which, with electrical not up to par, .ight use the gain as a volume knob,..
Which he SHOULD BE THANKFUL AFTER CLIPPING tweeter equivalent sized voice coils haven't burnt up a long time ago,...AND ON TOP OF THAT, the coils held up, longer than what SHOULD OUTLAST the voice coils SOFT PARTS..softest parts.
(JS..
There's always a pattern, AND SEVERAL COMMENTS, complaining about similar if not exact problems.
I wish people would OWN UP,...HOLD THEMSELVES ACOUNTABLE for once, and admit operator error, instead of bash amazing products, for what might ruin someone's experience with trying the great work themselves, and go for something else because of rookie claiming pro..
Noob mistakes.
Like people..have like crowds, whom have like friends
