Details

The CT Sounds TROPO-2X10D4 is a pre-loaded dual 10” ported car subwoofer box that takes the guesswork out of finding the perfect subwoofers and enclosure for your system. The bass package features two of our TROPO-10-D4 1300-watt max power 10-inch car subwoofers which come pre-installed flush into the 1.25” front baffle using claw nuts and fasteners ensuring an air-tight seal. Additionally, the dual 4-ohm subwoofers are pre-wired inside the enclosure using 12 gauge ofc wire for a 1-ohm final impedance at the terminal cup. This is a true plug-n-play offering - simply run a +/- wire from the terminal cup to the +/- speaker terminals of your amplifier.

The unique high-performance kerf-port, typically only seen in custom enclosures, allows the air pressure to exit smoothly and quickly creating extreme levels of responsive bass output. Furthermore, from the top to the bottom of the interior port walls is a 3-mm rabbet-groove that runs 80-mm into the port on the left/right interior port walls - this allows the premium black carpet to lay flush inside the port with zero-edge providing a smooth exit for the air and eliminating port-noise. Lastly, the enclosure was constructed using advanced joinery practices - dado joints connect the exterior left, right, top, bottom, and back wood pieces, and miter joints connect the corners of the box by cutting the wood at a 45-degree angle. These joinery practices ensure maximum surface contact and eliminate vibration.

From the second you open the package, to the moment you pull the loaded enclosure out of the thick cardboard box, you will immediately recognize the craftsmanship and details that went into not just the secure packaging but the overall design of this product.

Very Clear Bass

I have to say I was shocked by the difference in sound quality between my 2 12’ skar SVR subs and these 2 10’ Tropo subs. I ran both on the same 2000 watt amp, which is maybe overpowered for these 10’ subs, but I tuned the gain and SPL for these Tropos and wow the difference is insane. The bass maybe doesn’t hit as low as the 12’ subs which is expected, but the clarity and quality of the subs is very noticeable. It puts bass into a new perspective. I definitely would take these less powerful 10’ subs over the skar 12’ 3600 watt subs just for the clarity alone. And don’t get me wrong, these things still hit hard. All love 🫶🏽

Slap

Never having had less than 12” subs, I was a little skeptical on 10’s. (Trunk size restraints )
Needless to say it slaps and the ported box is good quality!

I paired the loaded dual 10in tropo's with the ct sounds 1500 1d amplifier and the 4g ofc wiring kit. They hit hard out of the box. Can't wait to see how much more bass I get after they are broke in!
Thank you ctsounds keep up the amazing work!

Great subs

Ive tried the Tropo 8' and now the 10's loaded box w the 1500.1 pushing them. Both sound great but the 10s do it effortlessly. Bass you can feel, they hit hard and not even broken in yet. Box is nice. (Would have been better if ups didnt damage it) CT sounds for the win
