Great mid bass and highs. I am very much enjoying these compared to the coaxials they replaced (P1675). I still have the Punch RF components up front so I’m comparing. The Fosgates have the advantage being in the door but the Meso’s still sound good on the rear deck. Just make sure it’s deadened. Don’t like that the tweets can't come off the front bezel housing so putting them in the factory location may be a challenge (‘12 Accord). Have them crossed over at 80hz and hit all the lower notes my P1675-S don’t. I’m convinced the 3 way components Meso’s will complete the front stage. I just need to figure where I’m placing the 3in mids.

I did some research before pulling the trigger on buying these Meso Comp set. For the Price you pay, you're buying a Mid tier Comp set. These are in par with these 500 dollar speaker sets. I've owned Kicker, CDT, Massive Audio, MB quarts, Alpine and they all have very bright tweeters. I've listen to Morel, Arc, Kar Design and other brands. These are the best a bang for the buck. These Meso are smooth and warm and doesn't hurt your ears. I have the crossover set to -3db on stock head-unit power. I read the review here about a guy buying these and not liking them and were comparing them to his MB quarts. Don't get me wrong MB quarts are nice, but I like the Meso more. The Mid Baisare very nice, this set up is more of SQ rather then Loud. Don't get me wrong these things can be loud but the clarity is perfect to my ears.
